ITINERARY

DAY 01: ARRIVE NEW DELHI
Arrive IGI airport in the afternoon (flight timings to be advise). After the clearance at customs/immigration check, you will be met & picked up by our representative and driver & transfer to hotel by your private vehicle. Stay overnight at the hotel in Delhi.

DAY 02: : OLD & NEW DELHI CITY TOUR (B)
Post breakfast visit 11th century Qutub Minar – a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by Qutub-ud-din
Aibek of the Slave Dynasty.
Visit the Bahai Temple or Lotus Temple (Monday Closed).Visit Humayun’s Tomb – a UNESCO World
Heritage Site is an early example of Mughal architecture. Later cover Red Fort – the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal dynasty. It was constructed by Shah Jahan in the year 1939 as a result of a capital shift from Agra to Delhi. We then visit India Gate – War Memorial. Drive pass Parliament House, President’s Palace, Secretariat buildings. Jama Masjid – Biggest most mosque in India built by Mughal King Shahjahan in 1656 AD. Enjoy Rickshaw (Tricycle) Ride in the streets of Chandni Chowk bazaar. Visit of Rajghat – Cremation Site of Mahatma Gandhi. Visit the Sikh temple, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, an important pilgrimage site for the Sikh faithful. Return back to hotel for overnight stay at the hotel in Jaipur.

DAY 03: DRIVE DELHI – JAIPUR (5 HRS) (B)
After Breakfast in hotel transfer to Jaipur. Enroute visit Samode Palace. Upon Jaipur arrival check inn
to hotel & relax. Evening withness Aarti ceremony at the famous Birla Temple made of White Marble.
Stay overnight at the hotel in Jaipur.
 (OPTIONAL) visit unique 5 star ethnic resort Chokhi Dhani in village ambience with puppet
shows, folk dances astrology, camel ride.

DAY 04: JAIPUR CITY TOUR
After breakfast, proceed to tour of the majestic Amber Fort.Fort situated on top of the Amber Hill.
Make your way up on Elephant Back in royal style. Later photo stop at the Lake Palace (Jal Mahal) &
Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal). Visit the Maharaja’s City Palace, the royal residence of the erstwhile
King of Jaipur.
Visit Jantar Mantar Observatory, a UNESCO World Heritage Site is an astronomical observation site
of 18th century. Enjoy free time for Bazaar shopping in Jaipur. Stay overnight at the hotel in Jaipur.

DAY 05: DRIVE AGRA VIA FATEHPUR SIKRI (B)
After breakfast drive to Agra – City of Taj Mahal. En-route visit the world’s most perfectly preserved
ghost town – Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.. Stay overnight at the hotel in Agra.

DAY 06 : AGRA / VARANASI ( BY TRAIN LICHCHVI EXPRESS -14006 ETD 2100)
Morning Sunrise visit to world famous monument of love – The Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage
Site (Friday Closed). Return back to hotel for breakfast After breakfast visit the Itmad-Ud-Daulah,
more commonly referred to as the “Baby Taj”, the first Mughal structure to be built entirely of white
marble. Visit the historic Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy Photo Tour of Taj Mahal
from Mehtab Bagh – The Moonlit Garden. Enjoy free time for Bazaar shopping in Agra. Later transfer
to the Tundla station to connect train for Varanasi depart Tundla at 2100 hrs.
Overnight sleep in an express air-conditioned class train.

DAY 06 : ARRIVE VARANASI ( BY TRAIN LICHCHVI EXPRESS -14006, ETA 0600 )
Arrive Varanasi station at 0600 hrs from Tundla. Pick up & assisted transfer to the hotel in
Varanasi.
Relax & acclimatize. The city of Varanasi being rich in its cultural heritage and tradition is
the cultural capital of India. The cultural life of this city of fairs, festivals and feasts is
associated with river Ganges. Varanasi is one of the most famous pilgrimages for the
Hindus. It is commonly believed that one who dies and is cremated in Varanasi gets
liberated from the cycle of births and rebirths.
Afternoon post lunch we head for a visit to Sarnath- the place where Gautam Buddha after
attain enlightenment delivers his first sermon to 5 followers). Sightseeing of Sarnath
including Sarnath Museum (Our National Emblem excavated from Sarnath is on Display built
by Samrat Ashoka), Ancient ruins, Mahabodhi society Temple.

Evening visit ghats on River Ganges to enjoy the evening Ganga Arti ceremony. Enjoy the
picturesque view of ghats alongside on the boat. You will get a chance to view people doing
arti infront of the holy water of river Ganges dedicating to their Gods as per rituals , beliefs
& culture.
Or Evening is free for leisure/shopping. Dinner and overnight in Varanasi.

DAY 07: VARANASI SIGHTS + DEPART VNS/DEL (BY FLIGHT- 6E 2232, ETD 1310 , ETA 1440)
Early morning boat ride on the river Ganges, a mystical & spiritual experience you will have
watching locals/devotees offering water & flowers to the Sun God. Return back to hotel for
breakfast. Later visit the most religious & historical temples- Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Shri
Tulsi Manas Temple, Bharat Mata Temple, Sankat Mochan temple(Hanuman Temple), Durga
Devi Temple & Banaras Hindu University.
After the visit of this transferred to the Varanasi airport connect flight to Varanasi. Arrive
Delhi airport at 1815 hrs. Met & Overnight at hotel.

Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Zürich, Switzerland

We’ll meet at 4 p.m. at our hotel in Luzern (Lucerne) for a “Welcome to Switzerland” meeting. Then we’ll take a meandering evening walk through Switzerland’s most charming lakeside town, and get acquainted with one another over dinner together. Sleep in Luzern (2 nights). No bus. Walking: light.

Day 2Zürich–Biel/Bienne–Neuchâtel–Geneva

Enjoy an orientation walk of Zurich’s OLD TOWN, Switzerland’s center of banking and commerce. Then, leave Zurich and start your Swiss adventure. You’ll quickly discover that Switzerland isn’t just home to the Alps, but also to some of the most beautiful lakes. First, stop at the foot of the Jura Mountains in the picturesque town of Biel, known as Bienne by French-speaking Swiss, famous for watch-making, and explore the historical center. Next, enjoy a scenic drive to lakeside Neuchâtel, dominated by the medieval cathedral and castle. Time to stroll along the lake promenade before continuing to stunning Geneva, the second-largest city in Switzerland, with its fantastic lakeside location and breathtaking panoramas of the Alps.

Day 3Enchanting Engelberg

Our morning drive takes us from Swiss lakes to Swiss Army. At the once-secret Swiss army bunker at Fortress Fürigen, we’ll see part of the massive defense system designed to keep Switzerland strong and neutral. Afterward, a short drive into the countryside brings us to the charming Alpine village of Engelberg, our picturesque home for the next two days. We’ll settle into our lodge then head out for an orientation walk. Our stroll through the village will end at the Engelberg Abbey, a Benedictine monastery with its own cheese-making operation. You’ll have free time to wander back before dinner together. Sleep in Engelberg (2 nights). Bus: 1 hr. Walking: light.

Day 4Interlaken Area. Excursion to The Jungfrau Massif

An unforgettable trip to the high Alpine wonderland of ice and snow is the true highlight of a visit to Switzerland. Globus Local Favorite At an amazing 11,332 feet, the JUNGFRAUJOCH is Europe’s highest railway station. Jungfrau’s 13,642-foot summit was first ascended in 1811 and in 1912 the rack railway was opened. There are lots of things to do here: enjoy the ALPINE SENSATION, THE PANORAMA 360° EXPERIENCE, and the ICE PALACE. Also receive your JUNGFRAU PASSPORT as a souvenir to take home with you. The round trip to the “Top of Europe” by MOUNTAIN TRAIN will take most of the day.

Day 5Lake Geneva and Château de Chillon

It’s market day in Lausanne! Enjoy browsing and packing a picnic lunch for our 11 a.m. boat cruise on Lake Geneva. A few miles down-shore we’ll dock at Château de Chillon, where we’ll have a guided tour of this delightfully medieval castle on the water. On our way back we’ll take time to peek into the vineyards surrounding Lutry before returning to Lausanne. Boat: 2 hrs. Bus: 1 hr. Walking: moderate.
